Service App supporting the below-mentioned transactions
AePS Transaction
AePS transactions can be performed through micro-ATMs, which are essentially hand-held devices that connect to the NPCI's central server. These micro-ATMs are usually operated by banking correspondents, who are agents appointed by banks to provide basic banking services in remote areas where traditional banking infrastructure is not available.
The basic banking transactions that can be performed through AePS include:
- Cash Withdrawal
- Cash Deposit
- Balance Enquiry
- Mini Statement
- Aadhaar pay
One of the main advantages of AePS is that it allows individuals to perform banking transactions without the need for a physical debit card or a PIN. This makes it particularly useful for individuals who do not have access to traditional banking services or who have limited literacy skills.
It is worth noting that in order to use AePS, individuals need to link their Aadhaar number to their bank account.
